Hungerford Hill 'Preservative Free' Chardonnay Tumbarumba

THE STYLE

This Chardonnay was barrel fermented by natural ‘wild’ yeast in new and seasoned French Oak barriques. Being preservative free, this wine is best enjoyed as a young wine and is not suitable for cellaring.

Hailing from the high-altitude region of Tumbarumba ensures this Chardonnay has intense fruit characters of peach and honeydew melon, while a small amount of malolactic fermentation has lead to a creamy palate.
